ARTIST IN RESIDENCE
Every time I pick up my paintbrush, I feel inspired to create something entirely my own—something that stands apart from other artists. Painting is my way of translating emotion into color and movement; it’s when I feel most relaxed and connected to myself. Each piece I create is a reflection of how I see and feel the world in that moment.
My work spans both realistic and abstract styles. In my realistic paintings, I focus on proportion, detail, and the art of truly seeing—drawing what’s in front of me rather than what I know to be there. When I create abstract pieces, I prefer to let the viewer’s eye wander without a single focal point, using color, shape, and design fundamentals to create a sense of natural flow.
What I love most about being an artist is the freedom to create something unique and different every time. The most challenging part, however, is putting myself out there and being recognized in such a vast creative world. My influences draw from modern design and the joy of seeing my work displayed in people’s homes—a reminder that art can transform everyday spaces into something meaningful.
When I paint, I prefer quiet—space to concentrate and let my creativity take over. If I weren’t an artist, I’d be an art teacher, inspiring others to express their emotions through creativity. Still, I can’t imagine a life without art; it’s my escape, my therapy, and my passion.
